Booking and Payment Details

  • Reservations with Kingswood Car Hire can be made conveniently via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Dartford office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking, with the remainder of the payment and a security deposit typically required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment processors.

Vehicle Pick-up and Drop-off

  • At Kingswood Car Hire, it is essential that you thoroughly inspect the vehicle upon collection and report any existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be filled out and signed at this time. You must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected, accounting for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and appropriate charges applied. Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level it had when you picked it up; refueling fees will apply if the tank is not full. 5. Insurance and Liability

You remain liable for damages or losses up to the excess amount unless additional insurance is acquired. 7. Usage Restrictions

Restricted Vehicle Usage

  • Prohibited activities include using the vehicle for illegal purposes or engaging in racing, rallying, or off-roading. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Ensure compliance with passenger and weight limits and do not operate the vehicle outside designated geographical areas without prior consent.

Breaching these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.

8. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Kingswood Car Hire is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for the rental in the past year. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
